This is a great app and with more and more phones coming to market with GPS integrated, (bluetooth GPS dongles never really took off with the masses.) you will hopefully find yourself in the right place in the market at the right time. You may want to consider supporting a 240x400 touchscreen as that seems to be the size most manufacturers are being drawn too.
Anyway i'll get to the point, tested and working using the internal GPS on the Sony Ericsson W995 (also called the W955) in some countries.
Thanks for all your work on this great app only played single player so far but hoping to get a multiplayer game going with a couple of mates in the coming weeks.

Thanks martin for the info and for the positive feedback! The W995 is a quite new phone so we haven't got it on our list yet.
We're currently working on a completely new "overhaul" of Tourality to be able to support an even wider range of screen sizes (virtually any!). Additionaly we're going to suport touchscreen, RIM BlackBerries, etc.
I hope you will try out the multiplayer mode - it's so much more fun than just playing alone!
Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when we release the new version.

UPDATE, played multiplayer this weekend against a nokia 6220 classic and noticed that the refresh rate on the classic was much faster than on teh w995, don't know if this has to do with using different networks or settings in the code, but it meant that if we arrived on spots at roughly the same time the classic would always get the spot, in some cases the classic was arriving up to 10 seconds after the 995 and still being awarded the spot. Strangely the updates about the classic recieving the spots were almost instant at all times.
The other thing i've noticed is that max min height is not recorded by the server from the 995 and it was from the classic.
Neither of these issues are a showstopper, we just made them part of the game as the fastest player had the w995 it was a leveling system that gave the other player a chance and on the whole multiplayer was a lot of fun, going to try on a grander scale next time which should eliminate any latency issues anyway just wish more of my friends had GPS enabled mobiles or dongles.
I'll say it again great game keep up the good work

That's really interesting. Both mobiles have integrated A-GPS - the first thing that comes to my mind is that the GPS module might send it's new position with a different interval to the application on the two mobiles.
Do you both have the same mobile network provider? It could also be an issue concerning latency in the network.
From the experience we have Sony Ericsson has quite "fast" phones concerning CPU performance compared to Nokia, this might be an issue as well. Could you give me a rough idea about what's the startup time of the Tourality application on both mobiles?
We'll have to investigate further...

I will check out start times for you this weekend, I can also check if there is a difference when using the same network as in the previous game we were on different networks.
